Dr. Baher Ashour is an accomplished Consultant Otolaryngologist with over 25 years of experience in the field. He currently works at Tarabichi Stammberger Ear and Sinus Institute  in Dubai. He was previously the Head of the ENT Department and Acting Head of Surgical Services at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital (formerly Zayed Military Hospital, Al Batayih, UAE). He is also an Assistant Professor at Cairo University Faculty of Medicine.His main areas of expertise include the management of hearing and balance disorders. This includes the testing and treatment of patients with dizziness, tinnitus, Eustachian tube dysfunction and noise induced hearing loss. During his work at Zayed Military Hospital, he gained additional experience in diving and aviation medicine. As a member of the International Working Group for Endoscopic Ear Surgery, he has extensive experience in this technique which provides minimally invasive ear surgery allowing for less postoperative pain and shorter recovery times. He has regularly presented in international conferences and demonstrated in ear surgery workshops in the UAE, Germany and Egypt
